Hi!  I’m Sasha, I was born in Hawaii, raised in Nebraska, and I’ve been doing hair in Portland since 2003.

 

I have always loved getting my hair done and I know it can be exciting and a little nerve wracking, so I’m happy to work in a warm inviting space and give you a salon experience that will make you feel relaxed, excited, and listened to.  

 

I’ve been a stylist for almost two decades and have grown even more passionate about my career as the years have gone by.  While I am comfortable doing all hair types, I have found a passion for curls and have made it a top priority to learn as much as I can so I can provide the best service possible on all curly hair types.  No matter what hair texture you have-  coily, curly, wavy, straight or anything in between-  I aim to enhance what your hair naturally does and show you what your hair can do.  I am well versed with wet or dry curly cutting, soft seamless razor cuts, and more structured precision looks.

 

As a colorist I specialize in highlights and balayage that look naturally sun-kissed and grow out soft and beautifully.  These looks can range from subtle to dramatic and are highly customizable.

 

There are so many talented stylists who can give you a great cut and color. I like to zoom out and look at the bigger picture of not just your hair, but your lifestyle and how much time you want to spend in the salon and on your hair.  I want to enhance what you love about your hair, troubleshoot where there is room for improvement, and help you streamline your routine.  Appointments with me are fun and educational, and ideally our relationship and appointments will stay fresh and evolve over time.

 

When I’m not at the salon, I’m probably hanging with my husband and 2 cats.  I’m a lover of hobbies- reading, painting, drawing, journaling, plants, dragon boating, and I am subscribed to most major streaming services so let’s talk tv!
